The standards behind
the executive questions.

Identify the rule. Examine the handling. Record the answer.

What is in the file

This source note links official public material, not a new case exhibit or an internal National Grid investigation. The earlier letters, agreements and replies remain separately indexed.

Who is being asked?

National Grid’s biography of Zoë Yujnovich ↗ identifies her as Chief Executive, appointed in 2025. She is approached in her present group-level role. Miss E’s executed agreement names National Grid Electricity Distribution (South West) plc (company 02366894), not the parent National Grid plc.

Group Code of Ethics · March 2026

The code covers group colleagues and subsidiaries and expects truthful dealings, accurate records, leadership escalation and fair investigation of concerns. Relevant printed pages: 5, 7–9 and 44. Read National Grid’s Code of Ethics ↗

This is the March 2026 edition. The questions request the policies in force at each earlier event and ask which requirements governed external counsel; neither point is assumed.

Customer-service commitments

NGED describes personal responsibility, keeping customers informed and following a problem through. It states an aim to respond to requests within 24 hours. That is a published service aim, not a promise to resolve every dispute within a day. Read NGED’s customer-service page ↗

Complaints: the important wayleave distinction

NGED publishes escalation and response aims, but expressly directs contractual or legal matters, including wayleave disputes, to the appropriate legal process rather than alternative dispute resolution. The questions therefore ask which route applies to this record-integrity and conduct concern; they do not assume entitlement to the general complaints timetable or an Ombudsman determination. What the policy comparison is for

The company is asked to supply the applicable policy titles, dates and provisions, then explain the handling against those standards. An unresolved issue should be identified by question and source document. Internal policies, contractual terms and a factual review outcome are more useful here than website terms and conditions.
