What is in the file

The Unanswered Record has examined all 5 pages in this supplied PDF copy. Page references below refer to that copy.

Annex J-2 is dated 26 October 2025, addressed to Luke Cornwell of Seldons LLP and signed by Mr J for Miss E.

The relevant passages

  • Page 2: it challenges correspondence described as dated 24 October, alleges self-forwarding and alteration of the National Grid chain, and disputes the late appearance of references to 1963 and 1975 agreements.
  • Page 3: it alleges that a 21 October disclosure schedule did not list those agreements and asks why revised schedules did. The underlying schedules are not reproduced here.
  • Page 4: it quotes the position attributed to the latest correspondence: “our client’s position remains that the benefit of these agreements has been transferred to him.” Mr J challenges the relationship between that position and the earlier court evidence.

What must be compared

The exact statement-of-truth passage, the full 24 October correspondence, the successive schedules and the actual instruments would show what was asserted and when. The quoted sentence appears within Mr J’s warning. The separate 24 October reply has now also been reviewed; it maintains that the benefit of the historic agreements transferred to the client. Source T records the original reply and the earlier denial of tampering.

The allegation that historic agreements had not been produced describes the family’s position in October 2025. Historic copies have since been supplied separately to this publication; the live question is their scope and application to BH68, not whether any old documents exist.
