Our security was targeted.

The Starlink obstruction, the engineer confrontation and our allegation of coordinated intimidation.

Mr J’s allegation / Coordinated intimidation

Our security was targeted.

I accuse Mark John Mayo of deliberately obstructing the Starlink dish that supports our security cameras. A heavy board and brambles were placed over it. Our independent engineer removed them on 10 October 2026. The obstruction, its removal and Mayo’s later confrontation with the engineer are recorded.

I allege that this was a deliberate attempt to disable our security system and leave my mother’s home exposed. The equipment was interfered with. An independent person sent to deal with the problem was then shouted at, sworn at and falsely accused of trespass. This demands a criminal investigation.

I also allege coordination involving Mayo, Derek and David Daniel, connected to our objections to the shooting syndicate associated with Daniel. I regard the sequence as evidence of organised intimidation. The grounds for that allegation are set out below, alongside the recordings and dated complaints.

My mother is afraid to return home. Her safety is at the centre of this complaint. I am publishing this record to demand protection for her and accountability for the conduct we have reported.

Watch what the engineer found.

The full recording begins with the obstruction still in place. It shows our engineer approaching the dish and removing the brambles and board. The separate photograph records the equipment as he found it. This is why the beginning of the footage matters.

Miss E reported that the cameras had been going intermittently offline and that the Starlink application showed an obstruction. She reported a £300 engineer’s charge to investigate and rectify the interference. His intervention appeared to restore operation. We had to call an engineer to put right interference with the system protecting our home. I am pursuing criminal accountability for the deliberate obstruction, the interruption to our security and the risk of damage to expensive equipment.

“The board and brambles had been deliberately placed so as to obstruct and potentially damage expensive satellite equipment belonging to us and to interfere with the Starlink signal upon which our security cameras depend.”

He came to repair our equipment. Mayo abused him.

Our independent engineer was attending to our dish. The recording shows his movements on our side of the fence. He did not enter Mayo’s property. Mayo nevertheless accused him of trespassing and threatened court proceedings if he entered again.

I rely on the complete recording to challenge Mayo’s false accusation. Readers can see the engineer’s recorded movements for themselves. This was an independent contractor, with no part in the dispute, being subjected to the hostility my mother has described. People attending our home to do lawful work should be able to do so in peace.

The shooting connection / Mayo’s own correspondence

The local shooting syndicate was already in Mayo’s email to police.

At 08:24 on 2 August 2024, Mayo emailed PC Brad Ithildîn. His own words were:

“You are aware of the trouble they are causing with the local shooting syndicate, claiming a noise nuisance when the real reason is that they are vehemently anti countryside sports.”

Mark Mayo to PC Brad Ithildîn, 2 August 2024 — source email

He also wrote: “Please feel free to share this information with your colleagues and officials from TDC.” Mayo was raising the shooting syndicate, attacking our motives for reporting noise and inviting wider circulation. Mayo himself brought the shooting dispute into his complaint to the police.

I allege that our objections to the shooting provide a motive for coordinated pressure against us. I want the relationships, communications and conduct examined together. Our concern for peace and safety at home must not be used to excuse intimidation.

Derek’s visit. The later obstruction. Investigate the connection.

The Derek recording is dated 18 August 2026. It shows him entering through the gate, approaching the house and looking towards the area behind it. I challenged David Daniel about that visit the next day. The Starlink obstruction was discovered on 10 October 2026, 53 days later.

I regard Derek’s conduct as reconnaissance. My allegation of Daniel’s involvement rests on Derek’s association with him, the repeated visits I have described, Mayo’s visits to Daniel, the earlier inspection and our dispute over the shooting. I infer that Derek was acting with direction or coordination. I ask police to obtain the communications and recordings that can establish who instructed whom and who placed the obstruction.

I am putting this recording before the police as part of my allegation of coordinated criminal intimidation. I want the preparation, the interference and the relationships investigated together.

Put the incidents together.

The October incident is the latest complaint. It belongs beside the earlier reports of assault, deliberate damage, intimidation and interference with my mother’s security.

  1. 28 September–1 October 2024 — the chain. The existing CCTV chapter shows a departure followed by my mother going outside with a torch. Her contemporary complaint described the chain being thrown into the mud and driven over. She was left to restore her own security.
  2. 3 April 2025 — the reported assault. My mother reported that Mayo grabbed and dragged her and threatened her with a rake. The two recordings presented here show her return towards the house in the immediate aftermath. I want that assault complaint pursued and linked to the later conduct.
  3. 4 July 2025 — the rubbish. The vehicle recording and aftermath belong together. I accuse Mayo of deliberately driving over my mother’s rubbish and leaving her to deal with the mess. Making her clear that up was degrading and unacceptable.
  4. 5 December 2025 — disturbance after midnight. My mother’s written notice described Mayo reversing his truck so that headlights shone into her windows while he deposited rubbish beside her garden. She described fear, alarm and a continuing pattern.
  5. 2026 — the gate and repeated disturbance. Her complaints continued to describe late-night vehicle movements, lights towards her bedroom and an entrance left unsecured. The earlier CCTV chapter preserves the dated recordings and their separate contexts.
  6. August–September 2026 — Derek’s visit and the signage. The August recording and September photographs add to the record. I regard the “KEEP OUT / NO PLANNING” signage as deliberate harassment and antisocial conduct: a public provocation intended to create conflict and pressure around our home and its sale.
  7. 10 October 2026 — the Starlink obstruction and engineer confrontation. The new recording shows what the engineer found, his removal of the obstruction, his movements and Mayo’s later conduct.

She should be able to live in her own home.

“I am a woman living alone and I am presently afraid to return to my own home because of the continuing hostility and intimidation.”

Miss E’s council complaint, 15 October 2026

My mother should not have to go outside in the dark to restore her security, clear up rubbish left after being driven over, or fear another confrontation. An attack on the system protecting her home makes those fears more serious. Her strength does not excuse the conduct she has had to endure.

We are not accepting this. My mother needs protection. I want the connected complaints pursued, the evidence secured and those responsible prosecuted.

Police report / 19 October 2026

The report is made. The evidence needs a connected investigation.

On 19 October 2026 I submitted the linked complaint to Devon & Cornwall Police under submission receipt DA-1011-26-5050-IR01, referring to the earlier receipt SHD-8213-26-5050-IR01. I also emailed the full report to PC Wood and requested a secure route for the complete evidence.

I want an investigation into the connected conduct: the October interference and threats, the earlier assault and rubbish complaints, and the alleged coordination. I want police to secure the recordings, examine the relevant communications and act on my mother’s safety. The full report below sets out the case I am asking them to pursue. We are awaiting a secure route to provide the complete media evidence.

Mr J

These are the answers we require.

  1. Mark John Mayo: Explain the obstruction of our dish and the basis for your trespass accusation against our engineer. Preserve and produce the CCTV covering the dish and the route to it during the period before 10 October. The full recording of the engineer’s visit must be examined against your accusation.
  2. David Daniel: What instructions or arrangements were made for Derek’s visits? What contact did you or Derek have with Mayo about our property, cameras or shooting complaints? The dates, messages and recordings are the records I want examined.
  3. Devon & Cornwall Police: Identify the investigating officer. Confirm how the October report is being linked to the earlier assault and rubbish complaints. Explain what steps are being taken to secure the evidence, investigate the alleged coordination and protect my mother. Provide the secure route for the full media evidence.

These new public questions have not been sent separately. The police report and request for a secure evidence route have been submitted as recorded above.
